GRADING NEWS

November 20th 2010 the panel grading was held at Lavenham village hall, sitting on the panel were Sifu keith Fanning 7th Deg black belt and chief instructor of I.F.K.F. Mark Devine 3rd Deg black belt I.F.K.F.Hayden Pople 1st Deg black belt B.K.K.A. and Sensei Chris Roper Chief instructor B.K.K.A.

There was the usual pre grading nerves showing through at the start of the grading but once settled all students performed well, showing off all their techniques to a high standard. At the end of the 2 hour grading the students were asked to leave the hall whilst the panel discussed  the students performance, it was unanimous that all the students had done enough to be awarded their grades and the following grades have been awarded.

Emily Poole 2nd kyu brown belt

Steven Mark 3rd kyu brown belt white stripe 

After the awards were made to the students Sifu Keith stepped forward and awarded Sensei Chris and Mark Devine 3rd Degree Black belt certificates from a grading that was held earlier in the year in Ireland.

After the grading was over the students all went home to freshen up whilst Sifu conducted a kung fu session with Sensei and Mark we didn't get long but we managed to cover a lot of very interesting techniques along with some Chi Gung and some advanced stepping routines. 

 At 2 o clock we all met up again at the Hartest Crown for a celebration meal where i had the privilege of presenting Sifu Keith with his well deserved 7th Degree certificate in Iron Fist kung Fu.

I would like to  congratulate all the students on their new grades and for all their hard work and effort over the last few months, i would like to thank Sifu and Mark for flying over from Ireland to sit on the panel .
