Sensei Wins First Place at World Breaking Championship

On 31st June2009 Sensei Chris Roper flew out to Orlando Florida to represent Team Ming Chuan in the U.S.B.A / W.B.A. World Breaking Championships held at The coronado Springs Hotel complex in Disneyworld Florida, The Championships were held over two days 3rd July / 4th July . The team consisted of Frank Fanning (U.S.A.) Brendan Clare (IRE) Amy Fanning (IRE) Sifu Keith Fanning (IRE) Mark Devine (IRE) Chris Roper (GB) Although Sensei does a fair amount of breaking this was the first major Breaking Championship he had entered, He enterd into three different catogories in Light Wieght Power Concrete Breaking, in the Power Elbow he Came 7th in the Power Hand he was placed 6th and in the Power Foot He Came 1st. The winning Break was 13 of 13 2" Concrete Blocks Thats 26" of concrete broken with one blow of the foot. in total the team bought back 8 throphies one 1st two 2nd three 3rd and two 4th places. well done to all that went.
